Rick Di Mascio established Inalytics in 1998, previously he was the MD and CIO of CINMan,and then Head of the UK Unit at GSAM. Rick has also been a Director of Olympus Capital Management, a European long/short hedge fund manager, and IMIGest, the leading Italian mutual fund company. Rick is also Chairman of the T-Charter group.

Alick StevensonAlick Stevenson

Alick joined MNOPF in May 2002, and has executive responsibility for overseeing the management of £3.0bn in assets allocated between thirteen managers and fifteen different mandates.

Prior to joining MNOPF, Alick ran his own consulting business specialising in interim treasury management and before this, was Treasurer, EMEA, with Nortel Networks for nearly fifteen years. He was a Trustee of various Nortel Pension Schemes between 1985 and 1998 and a trustee director of ICAN, between 1996 and 2001, and was recently elected to the NAPF Investment Council.

He was appointed a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers in 1991.

Alick is married with two grown up sons. Outside of work he enjoys fly-fishing, cooking, gardening and travel.

Chris AldophChris Aldoph

Chris is responsible for the management and co-ordination of transitions. He joined UBS in September 2007 following four years as a Senior Transition Manager at State Street. Chris has over 18 years investment management experience, including eight at First Quadrant LP where he was Director of Trading, overseeing mainly the asset allocation strategies managing global equity, fixed-income, derivative, and currency trading.

He has an honours degree in accounting from the University of Kent at Canterbury and is an Approved Person (CF21) by the UK's Financial Services Authority as Investment Advisor.

Lachlan FrenchLachlan French

Lachlan French is the Head of Transitions Management for Europe and Asia (ex Japan) and is responsible for all aspects of BGI’s transition business in the region. Lachlan joined BGI in January 2008 from State Street Global Markets where he held the position of Senior Managing Director and was responsible for the firm’s Portfolio Solutions business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. During his 7 years at State Street Lachlan was instrumental in the rapid growth of this group, in particular the transition management business. Prior to this Lachlan worked at Royal Sun Alliance Asset Management where he rose to the position of Director of Derivatives and Portfolio Trading before leaving to join State Street. He held a variety of investment management positions including managing asset allocation for several funds; setting up the derivatives desk and managing derivative positions ranging from equity and fixed income futures and options to complex fixed income solvency hedges. He has a Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from Durham University and is an FSA Approved Person.

Ben is European Director of the Mercer Sentinel Group, where is responsible for leading the European team. The Mercer Sentinel Group focuses on advising clients in the fields of Plan governance and execution, custodian reviews, investment manager operational assessments and transition operations. Mercer Sentinel has three global hubs, London, Chicago and Sydney.

Ben’s specialist area within the group is asset transitions where he is responsible for leading Mercer’s asset transition operations within Europe and is a member of the global transition manager research team.

Prior to joining Mercer’s Ben worked for a major Life Assurance Company. Overall, he has over 10 years experience in the pensions market.

Ben holds a Bachelor degree in Financial Management and a Masters degree in Finance. Ben is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.

Chirag PatelChirag Patel

Mr. Patel is an Assistant Vice President at State Street Global Markets where he is involved in customized portfolio construction and risk management research. Prior to his association with State Street, Mr. Patel was part of the founding management team at SanoGene Therapeutics Inc., a biotechnology start-up created to commercialize University of Illinois technology. He previously held various positions at the City of Cambridge, the University of Illinois and the General Services Administration. Mr. Patel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute; an M.Sc. in Management Information Systems and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

Steve WebsterSteve Webster

Steve, currently heads the transition management business at RBS, having migrated the business from ABN. Steve joined ABN in 2005 to build, develop and manage its transition management business. Prior to ABN, Steve previously managed the transition management business at JPMorgan, having built this business from it’s inception in 2002. Steve Joined JPMorgan from ITG (Investment Technology Group) where he managed sales of quant trading.

Prior to ITG, Steve worked for the London Stock Exchange for nine years. During which time he served on the management group responsible for migrating the London market to order driven trading.

Steve has edited and co-edited papers on trade execution strategies whilst at ABN and JPMorgan and previously lectured on the changing dynamics of UK equity markets.

Tim WilkinsonTim Wilkinson

Tim is Global Head of Citi Transition Management. Tim established the transition management business for Citi in the Asia-Pacific Region in 1996. He relocated to London in early 2004 to roll out the platform on a global basis. Tim has 23 years experience in Global Investment Banking, having joined SG Warburg in 1985 as a research analyst. Tim went to the Far East in 1989 with Warburg to develop their International Equities business. He joined Citigroup in 1994 as a Director. Tim has become a leading advocate of best practice, and is the author of several educational articles on transition management. He has also spoken at numerous International Conferences on the subject. Tim graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University in 1985 with a Masters in Law. He holds a full FSA license.
